Julia Prikhodko | Pianist

Born in Karlsruhe in 2004

Julia Prikhodko discovered her passion for music at the age of five at the educational center “Mosaik e.V.” in Karlsruhe under the guidance of Natalia Nasledova.

One year later, she began studying the piano, an instrument to which she has devoted herself with great dedication ever since.

She received her pianistic training over the course of nine years in private lessons with Anna Kogan. Her exceptional talent became evident at an early age through numerous successes in national and international competitions.

In 2018, she was awarded First Prize with distinction at the VII International Piano Competition “Reinhold Glière” in the piano solo category. Julia Prikhodko is also a multiple prizewinner of the German national competition “Jugend musiziert” at both regional and federal levels.

In 2021, she received First Prize with the highest score at the 58th Federal Competition in the category “Piano Four Hands or Two Pianos.”

In the same year, she was awarded First Prize and a Gold Medal at the International Competition “László Spezzaferri” in Verona.

Another milestone in her musical career was winning the Grand Prix at the International Karl Adler Youth Music Competition in Stuttgart.

Together with her duo partner, she additionally received a special prize for the best interpretation of a Romantic work.

In 2025, she won Third Prize at the international competition “Young Pianists of the World” in Grosseto.

In the same year, she appeared as a soloist with the orchestra of the Ettlingen Music School, performing Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto at the Stadthalle Ettlingen.

The soloist of the concluding piano concerto by Grieg, Julia Prikhodko (class of Chistiakova), together with the confidently conducted orchestra, succeeded in bringing the Norwegian composer’s virtuosity and rich tonal magic vividly to life.
